The boring parts of your shop, handled quietly.

I build small behind-the-scenes automations for Shopify and Etsy shops: stock alerts, review requests after delivery, and drafted replies to customer emails. They run on your own account, so you own them and pay no monthly fee to me.

Three automations most shops need

Each one is a working workflow, not a mock-up. The examples below are real outputs from a test store.

1. Low-stock and sold-out alerts

Every morning it checks every product and option in your store. If something is low or sold out, you get one short message. If stock is fine, it stays silent.

  • Your own reorder point per product
  • Telegram, Slack, email or WhatsApp
  • Untracked items (gift cards, digital) ignored
Message to the owner, 8:00Stock check 2026-11-06 SOLD OUT (1) - Lavender Soy Candle / 16 oz (CAN-LAV-16) LOW STOCK (2) - Wick Trimmer / Brass (ACC-TRIM-BR): 1 left (reorder at 5) - Lavender Soy Candle / 8 oz (CAN-LAV-8): 3 left (reorder at 5)

2. Review requests after delivery

A week after an order ships, the customer gets one short, personal email from your store, naming what they bought and asking for a review. Problems come back to you as replies instead of bad reviews.

  • Skips cancelled orders
  • Tag any customer "no-review" to leave them out
  • Sent from your own mailbox, in your words
Email to the customer, day 7Subject: How is your Lavender Soy Candle? Hi Sarah, Your Lavender Soy Candle and Brass Wick Trimmer should have arrived about a week ago. I hope you love them. If you have a minute, a short review helps a small shop like ours more than anything: [your review link] And if anything is not right, just reply to this email and I will fix it. Thank you, Your Store

3. Drafted replies to customer emails

Each new customer email gets a ready-to-send draft based only on your shipping and return policies, plus a label (order status, return, damaged, question). You read it, adjust if needed, and send. Nothing goes to a customer without you.

  • Never promises refunds or discounts on its own
  • Says "we'll check" when the answer isn't in your policies
  • Costs about a cent per email in AI fees
Draft sent to the ownerNew email from jen@… Subject: Where is my order? DRAFT REPLY: CATEGORY: where-is-my-order Hi Jen, thanks for checking in! Orders ship within 1-2 business days and usually arrive in 3-5 days in the US. Your tracking link is in the shipping confirmation email; if you can't find it, reply here and I'll send it straight over. The Team

How it works

  1. You email me what's eating your time. No call needed.
  2. I reply with exactly what I'd build, a fixed price, and a date.
  3. You give me limited access (a Shopify app token with only the permissions needed). Never your password.
  4. I build it on your own free Make or n8n account, test it, and send you a short guide.

Questions

Do I need to pay for software?
Usually not. Most shops fit in the free tier of Make or n8n. If yours needs more, I'll tell you the cost before you pay me anything.
What do you need access to?
A Shopify custom-app token limited to what the automation reads (for example products and inventory). You can revoke it any time.
Do you build websites or run ads?
No. Only the behind-the-scenes work: stock, orders, emails, reports.
What else can you automate?
Orders into Google Sheets or your accounting, purchase orders to suppliers, a daily sales summary, print-on-demand pipelines. Ask.
